2022: FIERCE
How can you have 1% more pleasure each and every day of this year?
In 2021 I :
• Moved full time to Old San Juan, Puerto Rico
• Completely closed down my life in Boulder, CO, sold my beloved subaru crosstrek, emptied out my storage unit, moved everything back to my Dad's in California
• Did a lot of therapy with Psychedelics ...and OMG ya gotta try it
• Made x3 more money than I ever have in any year previous
• Met, loved, and lost, soul family
• Grieved. A LOT.
• Founded Renegade Tgroup with J Roth Davis and @erica Shapiro after spending a cold winters night in a hot tub together - Robert William Love Jr. carried the torch for us soon after
• Said Yes to a whole bunch of stuff that scared the absolute shit out of me
• Reacted less frequently than years prior (YAY! GOOD JOB MICHAELA)
• Kept my 3 year (so far) commitment of only working jobs that don't require me to wear shoes
• Had my first full year being single in (I don't even know how many years?) I’m P R O U D of this milestone
• Finally had a conversation with my dad that I had let go of even wanting. One that I had written off as a “maybe next life”, kind of thing. He showed up powerfully and vulnerably. Nothing but sitting on the beach here in Puerto Rico, sand between our toes, no one in sight, exploring some of his childhood trauma and the intergenerational patterns running through our lineage - My have we come a long way.
• Said YES to embarking on a truly INSANE journey with Alton Sun to be consciousness pioneers out here in the wild west of Puerto Rico
• Got to have a healing conversation with my mom where I got to own the many different parts of myself that want her to be in pain to somehow make-up for my pain-FULL childhood. She witnessed me, loved me in it, and owned her part in it all fully and courageously.
• Had many many meltdowns and breakthroughs
• Spent a lot of time alone and hanging out by myself (my favorite part of this year)
• Stepped on a sea urchin
• Got triggered a bunch
• Had so many puppy kisses - mostly from Reality & Lola
• Poured my heart and soul into everything I did
• Stayed alive through another year on earth?! (Great job to you too if you're reading this)
• Chose to fully FEEL every thing in front of me - YUM
• Fell madly, deeply, passionately in love with a number of pretty incredible people
• Leaned deeper into relationship with platonic life partner Paige Elizabeth (Committed to a weekly call together?! Take that avoidant attachment and nomadic lifestyle!)
• Volunteered on epic projects like Imaginacion San Juan
• Took a few more steps toward my massive Tony Robins esque potential in my work life
• Facilitated a variety of different sex positive events supporting people in embracing desire, pleasure, compersion, and releasing the shame and taboos that are keeping our world small and castrated
• Served Kambo to more clients in this single year than I have in any of the previous years combined (thanks for the support in this Alton Sun!)
• Lived LIFE with Alton Sun, Winslow Strong, Brianna Schwanke, Mike Kabjian, Jason Digges, Ben Muzikal, Erica R. Shapiro, Cynthia Gramer, Elijah Chancey, Brady Anthony-Brumfield, Zachary Robison, Michael Hrostoski, Haydelisse Quinones, Josh Billings, Charlene Jessica Parker, Veronica Kaulinis, Emily L.
